Fashionistas who appreciate gorgeous unique clothing, and maybe fancy a change from the usual high street shops, should go have a look-see at XXIV London - an online shop which specialises in pieces designed and made by fresh, young independent British designers.

It all began in 2009, starting out with just one label selling pieces in the famous Camden Stables Market on the weekends.  From there the shop went online and hosts an array of talented designers whose pieces are truly a delight to gaze upon.

The website is constantly looking to promote the work of independent designers, helping new talent gain the recognition they deserve.  All the clothing and accessories offer that extra something but are all still very wearable and stylishly chic!

I’ve fallen in love with British designer Lee Klabin’s Autumn/Winter 2010/11 Collection.  Breathtakingly beautiful structured pieces enhance the womanly silhouette with the help of boning which runs through the panels and seams resulting in traditional British fashion with an artistic flare!

Celebrities such as Dita Von Teese, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lily Cole are already followers of this Israeli born fashion designer.  No wonder really as she manages to create pieces that capture the essence of power dressing but with a feminine edge.  Lee’s obsession with emphasizing the female form was always the driving force behind her creations.  She studied at London College of Fashion and afterwards started to design couture corsets which caught the attention of enough people that she decided to launch an evening Ready-To-Wear Collection which cinch in and accentuate all the right places of a woman’s figure.

I absolutely love vintage shops!  The excitement of rifling through all the clothes, shoes and accessories looking for that extra special bargain item!  My problem though is that all my favourite ones seem to be in London and, living in Hampshire, can be quite costly and time consuming to get to them.  But it seems my prayers have been answered as Oxfam has recently launched the UK’s first online vintage charity shop!  This has made me a very happy shopper indeed!

Sourced from Oxfam shops and boutiques around the country this new section on the Oxfam site will stock the biggest selection of vintage clothing anywhere online!  Browse through thousands of gorgeous handpicked items from the 1950’s to the 1980’s including women’s and men’s clothing, shoes, bags and accessories.

You could even get your hands on a 1950’s leather clasp handbag, a floral 1970’s maxi dress, a batwing leather jacket or even a retro evening gown – there’s just too much to choose from!  But not only will you be nabbing a unique find you’ll be helping to fight poverty around the world too.

If you’re a regular reader of TopStylista.com you’ll know I’m a major fan of the bag brand Fiorelli.  I recently attended their Autumn/Winter 2010 Press Day which was held at the sophisticated Courthouse Double Tree Hotel in London.

As I wandered through reception I spotted the array of Fiorelli bags from a distance and felt a small smile creep its way to my lips.  Presented around the bar area were the Autumn and Winter Collections all complimenting each other beautifully.  Seeing these two ranges together is an amazing opportunity and I never realised how many gorgeous styles, shapes and colours there were!
