When I think of the colour white the words beautifully serene pop up into my thoughts.  A perfect trend to work into your Spring/Summer 2010 wardrobe and it will help keep you looking chic in the hot weather.

Experiment with soft draping and unstructured blazers to create feminine yet smart outfits or accessorise a mini shift dress with bright bold jewellery.  You could even go for a minimalistic style!  A favourite look of mine is a slouchy white lightweight shirt worn with a brown waist belt then teamed with a pair of navy skinny jeans and a pair of killer heels.  Stylish and fabulous all at the same time!

Take inspiration from the designers Spring 2010 Ready-To-Wear Collections such as Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, Givenchy, YSL and Chanel if you get stuck!

Oh yes, it’s that time again! Love is still in the air with Wedding season hitting full pelt and with seven weddings on my agenda this year my strict outfit planning has begun. So, I hear you say – what are you going wear?

Well, with being a personal stylist, there’s definitely a little more added pressure… to wear something different and to look effortlessly stylish - it’s just a case of pulling on an amazing outfit from the deepest darkest depths of your wardrobe, isn’t it? Yeah right, I wish. For a start I don’t even get time to shop for myself so I get my fashion fixes by shopping online!

Oscar London have a gorgeous range of maxi dresses that are perfect for your summer wardrobe!  Comfortable and ultra flattering, as they are long enough to hide lumps and bumps, there’s an array of beautiful colours and designs that are great for day and evening occasions.

What I love about these maxi dresses is that they are just so feminine and elegant and are, in my opinion, a holiday must-have.  All you have to do is roll them up to avoid creasing, pop them in your suitcase and you’re good to go.  Gladiator sandals, towering, wedges, chunky jewellery and oversized sunglasses would all look gorgeous worn with one of these fabulous maxi dresses – just mix and match to create different looks!

Featured throughout the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks such as Louis Vuitton and Topshop Unique, cycling shorts seem to be a definite season must-have!

Part of the sportswear look they are versatile enough for layering, with denim for example, and can be dressed up or down – depending on the style of course.  Now being a pear shape I’m a little annoyed with this trend.  But only because women who have spidery long legs seem to be the only people who can probably make cycling shorts look stylish instead of frumpy…  But if you’re willing to give them a go I would suggest wearing them with a pair of killer heels or super chunky wedges.
