Launching with the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection, this new online store has everything from smart chunky knitwear to sophisticated jackets and coats featuring military elements.  The unusual prints on the dresses and the Chara cardigan are gorgeous too and are sure to be big hits!  Key pieces from the range include the Floral Jude dress, Kaia dress, the Corinna cardigan and the Firebelt.  What I love about this range is that you can mix and match all these chic pieces to create fabulous outfits to keep you warm and stylish in the colder months.

The Autumn/Winter 2010 collection prices range from £60 to £685 and the online store is sure to increase ALICE by Temperley’s popularity even more!

I’ve always wanted to travel to Japan to experience their culture and fashion.  There is something very unique and awe-inspiring about their clothing and style.  The quirkiness and creativity draws people into the unfamiliar.  I see so much attention paid to London Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and all the other European events but I’m surprised to see that not much attention is given to Japan Fashion Week.  This is all going to change though and the first step is the Japanese Boutique Harajuku Freak!  It stocks designers from Japan Fashion Week not found anywhere else in the west and has already caught the attention of Jay-Z and The Black Eyed Peas!

Expect rare, limited and avant-garde pieces on this new online fashion boutique from designers such as Garconshinos, whose pieces have been worn by actress Chiaki Kuriyama, from Kill Bill fame, and rapper Kid Cudi.  One of the most successful Japanese models, Anna Tsuchiya, is a fan of designer Motonari Ono who is also featured on the site.

Each piece featured on the site is so beautifully contrasted with the use of an array of materials, from the traditional fabrics such as silks and chiffons, to the rather unusual like the coating of an iPhone touch screen being featured on some of the garments – truly unique!

Versatility and style are fused together in the Original American Zip Purse which are designed by architect and designer Beth A Metsch.  Good news for us Brits as they became available to buy in the UK for the very first time on the 1st July this year!

It all began 8 years ago when American-born Beth and her mum bought a roll of zip, cut it in half and went to their sewing machines as a kind of competition.  Beth’s prototype, which was a continuous zip bag, seemed to have impressed her family and friends a great deal and they soon placed orders.  Shortly after several high profile retailers became interested and the bags have had massive success since!

These Bam Bags, made from a continuous high strength zip, are now a household name in the States which is probably due to their originality and quirkiness!  The messenger, tote and handbag styles are perfect for taking on shopping trips and long weekends whilst the wristlets, minis and purses are great for day outings!  There’s also a range of different colours to choose from too so you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to have!
