As you may be aware, style officials Trinny and Susannah launched a search at Birmingham’s Style in the City event for the next model to help launch their Spring/Summer collection at Littlewoods Direct.

They found one… the gorgeous Sapna Pabbi (from Birmingham)! She’s a 22 year old student who you’ll start seeing a lot more of we thinks. Not only did she win the modelling contract, but also a private style consultation with Trinny and Susannah and £500 to spend on clothes.

Well done to Sapna from TopStylista.com x

If you were in London around Harley Street on the 14th Oct you may have seen quite an unusual sight ... a team of 15 scantily clad real women led by the leggy Sasha Parker – winner of Coleen’s Real Women marching down the street, wearing little else but their Pretty Polly Secret Slimmer tights.

image

Some of the placards featured protest messages including, “No Nip. Just Tuck”; “Cosmetic Surgery £10,000, Secret Slimmer’s £6.00”; “No Surgery Required”; “Don’t Suck it out, Suck it in”. The stunt was pulled off by renown fashion PR Company Fuel.

Let’s see more of this ... WE LOVE THESE CAMPAIGNS!

Ladies, ladies, ladies we are all going crazy for more junk in the trunk, more bootay, a little more swing in our hips; well our prayers have been answered (to an extent!).

Introducing the new Wonderbra for our bums!  Yes you’ve just read right, this garment the Double-O Bum Bra Brief is also known as the ‘Double-O Thong’, this piece of underwear lifts your buttocks to pert perfection if Mother Nature just so happened to be a little stingy in that area. And guess what, not only do they lift the buttocks they flatten the stomach. Foxy!

As you might have seen I had been shortlisted for ‘Most Inspiring Newcomer’ at The Federation of Image Consultants (TFIC) Spirit of Inspiration Awards 2008. To give you a little background about the awards, they were ‘launched to allow TFIC to acknowledge, celebrate and reward the achievement of those who have shown an enterprising and entrepreneurial spirit’. It’s so nice to be recognised for my efforts to date and winning an award like this is the most amazing feeling.

The awards ceremony itself was fantastic and as you’d imagine with a conference for image consultants, stylists and personal shoppers everyone was dressed to impress.

I was gobsmacked to hear the lovely speech from Sue Donnelly, the Federation’s President who said, “This year’s winner is dynamic and inspirational – not only with her looks, her cutting edge services and marketing techniques – but because she has a real passion and enthusiasm for helping others”, she continued “Chantelle is an excellent role model and ambassador to other prospective members”.

I have worked so hard over the past 18 months and I have been extremely lucky to work with many influential people who have all supported me immensely. When I founded TopStylista.com and iStylista.com I didn’t know anyone in the fashion industry but I have thrived on opening the doors to opportunities and overcoming challenges that I never thought I’d achieve so soon. This is my dream job and I have loved every minute of this journey - there’s much more to come so keep watching this space!
