It’s fair to say that over the period of a year we’re sent hundreds of different tanning products to try out… all much of a muchness to be fair. However, we recently received a product that stood out from the crowd by some distance, possibly because of its bright pink bottle and quality packaging (we’re suckers for good branding!).

With fans including Lisa Snowden, Rachel Stevens and Imogen Thomas, we felt if it was good enough for them… then it must be OK for us! We also learned that the Sienna product is in fact the spray tan brand of choice used on Strictly Come Dancing, How to Look Good Naked and even Gladiators!

So… onto the products!

We started with the ‘extend and perfect gradual tan’ in its gorgeous magenta bottle. The product is rich, creamy and very smooth and smells pretty good too unlike many of the chemical ridden based tanning products. The product contains anti-oxidant vitamins and natural ingredients and is a joy to use we have to say! The tan it produces is also incredibly natural… not a hint of a tangerine insight! It’s priced at £14.95 and worth every penny when you consider the results from other cheaper brands.

We just received our sample of a new product line Bollywood GLAM-X Foundations, which is specifically formulated for Asian skin tones like mine.

I’m quite lucky in that my skin is pretty healthy and balanced and therefore I tend to refrain from using foundations, however on photo shoots or when I get tired there is certainly a need to have a helping hand in the form of foundation. The problem has been in the past finding a decent matching foundation for my skin.

Apparently this product is used by makeup professionals in the Bollywood arena as it’s the best you can buy and caters for all Asian and Ethnic skin tones. The choice spans from beige to yellow to gold and olive tones, 6 shades in all, so you don’t necessarily have to be Asian to use them!

I really do look forward to jet setting abroad at least 4 to 5 times a year (who doesn’t) and if it just so happens that I can combine sun, sea and shopping I’m in my complete element every time. As a top London personal stylist shopping as you would expect is one of my favourite past times and familiarising myself with unique shopping haunts around London is always a pleasure but I still find stumbling across those gorgeous undiscovered boutiques overseas is even better.

These days, for me, long haul flights aren’t as frequented due to lack of time and I know it’s a shame to say but the shorter the flight the better! Going on holiday is all about the destination, luxury living, indulgence and complete relaxation and Mykonos is one of those beautiful Greek islands that can offer the complete luxury experience!

I must say I love the line ‘Say Hello to Dr Kadir… Wave goodbye to cosmetic surgery. Dr Kadir introduces revolutionary Matrix Care to the UK’, I simply had to try one of his most raved about skin care products, Dr Kadir Matrix Moisturising Cream SPF22. With being a top personal stylist in London it’s not just about shopping for beautiful clothes, shoes and handbags, image is everything and looking your very best is key, so excellent grooming should not be overlooked.

Since I turned 30 I’ve noticed more lines, prominent blemishes, extra dryness and darker circles underneath my eyes, which leads me to think now, I am really showing the signs of ageing! With years of trouble free skin and hardly wearing any make-up, my skin care regime was incredibly easy but now I must admit I have been secretly looking into lotions and potions to ‘work their magic and do the trick’, but there’s so many products on the market its a wonder, what will work.

We’ve been busy trying out a few luscious products recently, three in fact.

Here’s our reviews taking each one by one:

Dermalogica Sheer Moisture – £21.42

One of our favourite beauty brands, Dermalogica have got it ALL right in our minds. This is a very light, SPF15, oil free moisturiser that is a dream to use. It leaves your sin feeling truly ‘moistured’ and with not a trace of grease!

This stuff may be quite expensive, but you really don’t need much of it. Use it before you head out to work in the morning applying to a freshly cleansed face. We found that the moisture was certainly still there even at around 5pm, and the knowledge that this product actually protects your skin just makes you feel like every penny was worth it.
