M&S Spring Summer 2010 Womenswear Collections

I’m so pleased I went to the M&S Spring Summer 2010 Womenswear press day in Marble Arch, London last week. As a top London personal stylist it’s important for me to keep up-to-date with next seasons trends to keep my clients informed.

The obvious featured trends included Boudoir, Sport Luxe, Uniform, Tribal, Warrior and Romance. The showroom really didn’t feel like you were in, what you or I know day-to-day as M&S, but a high end exhibition of luxe fabrics, embellishments and colours. The collection felt stunning, gorgeous and effortless to wear.

One of my favourite top combinations - nudes with bright sequin embellishment.

A ‘Warrior’ inspired collection incorporating draping fabrics.

This was my least favourite collection but the way it had been styled looked edgy and I know some of my clients will love it!

Tribal is set to be bigger and better next season and I just loved this collection! The details and embellishments made a stunning impact on each garment.

Corals, body con and soft structure play a huge part next season.
