Sizzling Summer Style at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre

I have just received the photos back from the Surrey Quays Style Event, which took place a few weeks ago.

Surrey Quays Shopping Centre presented their first summer style event on Saturday 25th July, where I helped shoppers perfect their summer wardrobe with showcases of this season’s key trends and must have items available from Surrey Quays fashion retailers.

The mini catwalk shows throughout the day displayed stunning outfits for every summer occasion from lavish weddings at Tesco, BHS and Dorothy Perkins to a simple day in the gym at JD Sports.

Performances from the Ruby Girls entertained audiences throughout with high energy high impact dance routines and the girls proved that nautical fashion is hotter than ever wearing pieces from New Look and River Island! The traditional navy and white are being mixed with bright colours this season to give a truly explosive summer look!

We showcased this summers best kept fashion secrets;
• As festival fever soars collections at New Look, BHS, Burton and Evans ensure you master the art of dressing up/down whilst sustaining a chic elegance for festival frenzy.
• Neon is the ultimate summer look so don’t be afraid of a little colour indulgence at BHS, River Island and Dorothy Perkins just be aware not to go too 80’s, team with neutral colours and minimise accessories to avoid neon overload.
• Bags are no longer mere accessories but can be the focal point of any outfit. The more colours the better so go bright and bold to get that true summer vibe.
