The new Sienna X self tanning range
It’s fair to say that over the period of a year we’re sent hundreds of different tanning products to try out… all much of a muchness to be fair. However, we recently received a product that stood out from the crowd by some distance, possibly because of its bright pink bottle and quality packaging (we’re suckers for good branding!).
With fans including Lisa Snowden, Rachel Stevens and Imogen Thomas, we felt if it was good enough for them… then it must be OK for us! We also learned that the Sienna product is in fact the spray tan brand of choice used on Strictly Come Dancing, How to Look Good Naked and even Gladiators!
So… onto the products!
We started with the ‘extend and perfect gradual tan’ in its gorgeous magenta bottle. The product is rich, creamy and very smooth and smells pretty good too unlike many of the chemical ridden based tanning products. The product contains anti-oxidant vitamins and natural ingredients and is a joy to use we have to say! The tan it produces is also incredibly natural… not a hint of a tangerine insight! It’s priced at £14.95 and worth every penny when you consider the results from other cheaper brands.
The second product we tested was the ‘extend yourself tanning mist’ which is ideal for a ‘quick tan’. It’s a little like hair spray in its smell and texture when applied, but dries incredibly fast. It provides a consistent spread of instant tan that actually develops moreso over 2-4 hours into a deeper, golden tan. It’s a great product for pepping up a holiday tan and you it’s quite safe to customise your shade by applying a second coat if a darker tan is required. But that’s not all, this magical mist is perfect for touching up areas like face and hands too, which are prone to fading faster. Overall a great product that is well worth its £14.95 price.
