Ethical Designer Eloise Grey is based in Elstead, Surrey and works with exquisite organic tweeds woven on the Isle of Mull. Her coats recall the era of fine tailoring of the 1930’s with a contemporary edge perfectly.
New to this collection are jackets and skirts. The two skirt styles combine elegance with rural practicality and having tried both on I can advise they look stunning and feel really feminine on too. I love the fact each skirt style has nice large pleats, which allow proper movement and this detail remains an elegant feature with a twist.
Toklas, pictured above, is one of my favourite coats in the collection. Classic reefer-coat style with feature pockets such as the oyster pocket, a play on the ticket pocket of gentlemen’s tailoring, from £500.
You can now view and purchase the whole collection on her newly launched online store or call her studio to order a catalogue on 01252 70 5169. Otherwise by appointment only you can visit her Elstead studio for a fitting.
Award-winning newcomer, Eloise, is being noticed nationally and internationally, though she is keen to base herself firmly in Surrey. If you are visiting London, Eloise has been selected for the highly-competitive Crafts Council fair, Origin at Somerset House in London from 14-19 October so why not pay her a visit.
